Solved: Counting slides from file path

Are you able to count the number of slides of a presentation from a file path, thus without opening up the presentation? If so how? I can already get the file path, now I want to count all the slides in that presentation.

I believe you will need to open it. It can be opened, slides counted, then closed, and this can be transparent to the user.
