Howdy,

I have a workbook that I turn off the calculation when it opens and I turn it on when it closes. However, it does not seem to turn back on when it closes. I have the one line of code in a Workbook_Close event. Anyone have any ideas?

Is your Personal.xls file calculation set to manual?? These properties are supposed to be a file property, but sometimes they play tricks.. :(

How do I even check that? I poked around in the VBE and couldn't find a property for calculation.

With a spreadsheet open, Tools/Options/Calculation

Thanks md. I'm in there a lot. I didn't know that was for the Personal.xls.

Remember, that's only if you have the file open, which generally you have to go to Windows | Unhide.. | Personal.xls | Ok, then check your calculation.
