Figure in lacs

Most of the values in cells are running to billions & not able to read out report clearly. Is it possible to format cell in such a way that value shown in cell in lacs.
E.G.
Actual Cell Value = 123456789.00
Value after formating=1,234.57

I think u did not understood the question. After applying above format result is "123,456,789..." rather tham as required by me.

I don't think that you can do what you want. YOu could easily format as thousands, #,##0,.00, or millions, #,##0,,.00, but as you are dealing with lakhs, you want by ten thousand.

If you wanted standard Indian format but by thousands and millions you could use a custom format of [>=10000000]##\,##\,##0.00,;[>=100000]##\,##0.00,;##0.00,
