Hello:
I have done a Yahoo search on this issue, and I can?t find the solution that I looking for. I am seeking your suggestions.
I use Vlookup that searches numbers in column A, and returns a value from Column D. Column A has several duplicates. My Vlookup formulas work very well except in case of the duplicates, Excel returns the same value from Column D. Is it possible that for each duplicate in Column A, Vlookup can return the corresponding value from D.?
Example:
Col A Col D
1245 25.00
1245 65.00
1254 75.00
1245 95.00
For each occurrence of 1245, Excel needs to return the value 25.00, then 65.00, then 95.00 and so on.
I have read Petermoran?s solution called VLOOKUPnth and HLOOKUPnth but it is not practical for me to nominate in each VLOOKUPNTH which entry I wish to find. Can someone offer a solution?
Regards,
Sean
