Does Open Office FULLY peacefully co-exist with Microsoft Office?
If so, which versions of Microsoft Office?

StarOffice co-exist peacefully with Office 2000, 2002 and 2003 on my production computer.

Do you have any issue with Open Office?

It worked well with me. OpenOffice ver 2.0 w/ MSFT Office 2003 Professional on a Windows XP Professional OS.

Same as Zack. Actually, OO 1.1 co-existed peacefully as well, although I rarely actually open either.

The files don't interplay well if they are VBA laden though. OO will kill all VBA macros on import. For the rest, though, I don't recall any issues, although again, I haven't played with it much.
