halve the shape or image

hi all
I am new to this and truly do not know about the usage of VBA. I need some simple tasks to be done in coreldraw. please & please kindly provide the code for these below things.

1) Halve(Resize to half) any element into two pieces horzintally or vertically including all shapes and images
if i have drawn any shape or imported any image i would like to resize to the .
half of the actual size by keeping the original intact

please kindly provide me the code to save it global macros
