MS Word inserts keys in the text area instead of performing the shortcut command

Hi,

I have developed an automation for formatting a few thousands MS Word docs. The automation is performed by using several key shortcuts in the UI that run macros or MS Word commands.
Once in a while, the action of a shortcut is not performed and the keys are inserted in the document (e.g I use "Ctrl+f" to open the Navigation Pane and sometimes the key "f" is being inserted in the document - see the attached picture). This behavior has been noticed with multiple MS Word commands or macros: Ctrl+S, Alt+G, Alt+H and so on.

I tried to increase the delay before sending the shortcuts to the app and also increased the delay between the keystrokes, but it does not seem to be 100% stable.

Has anyone encountered something similar and knows what else I can try?
