This is real easy but i can't remember how to do it. Say you have the number 695769 in A1 and the number 623909 in A2. What is the correct formula to use if you want to determine how much of an increase or decrease the second number is from the first percentage wise? Thanks

Well, that does not look right. I get a percentage of 1.115% difference between the two numbers. Should it not be higher?
=B1-A1 & " %"
Sorry I had them on rows instead of in a colulmn....
try this:
=A2-A1 & " %"
=(A2-A1)/A1%
=ABS(A1-A2)/A1
and format as a percentage
Hmmm.... one uses A1-A2 and the other A2-A1.
