Good topic for an article

Here's a suggestion:

I've been following IcePirates' threads

because I'm also trying to integrate Excel and Word, and I'm up a creek without a paddle. (Actually, I'm so lost when it comes to Word that I've been trying to avoid the issue by writing a procedure that will format a spreadsheet be more printer-friendly. Not going so well....)

I also notice that his threads have gotten a lot of views. If someone is looking for ideas for a new article, I think it would be a good idea if someone could write an article covering the bases (making and retrieving Word templates, using fieldforms, formatting, using Word objects and properties, calling Word functions, etc.) on this subject. I know I would benefit a lot from it, and I'm sure others would, too.
