help to Develop a Leave Planner in VB

Hi Friends.

I need help and support of all you people in the forum.

I have made an attempt to develop a project "Automation of Leave Planner" based on MS-Access as the front end and VB Scrpt as the back end.

I am stuck with many problems,

1)how to store dates in month, year and dates in storage space as month, year and month format.
2)storage space of dates are less.

Now once it is designed, how to go about with the screens.

Can anyone help me with this idea to get materialised.

Why not do it all in Excel, the amount of data would be small.
