Thread: Formula Bar

    Formula Bar

This is not a VBA question but it could be:

Is there a way to move the 'Formula Bar'?

I ask because when someone uses a large equation that is more than one line, it covers the column labels. If the equation is long enough, then the Formula Bar hijacks even more screen space while covering important information. I have seen that this has been addressed in the next version of Excel but until then...

Are there other work-arounds to this?

    Thanks again.

    Hi there,

The only workaround prior to version 2007 is to create smaller formulas or break them up into multiple cells. Sorry.

or don't have the workbook maximized, and drag it lower down.
