Windows and Mac difference...Code wise

What are the differences in coding VBA on a Mac and getting it to run on Windows. I believe I saw a post on here once that the differences were subtle. Any one know?

Hmm, I don't remember them all, but I do remember that Macs do not support ActiveX controls, Runtime Script and some other controls.

In Excel 2001 for Mac, you cannot insert a Microsoft Data Map into a worksheet. There is no Map tool on the Standard toolbar, and the Map menu command does not appear on the Insert menu. (Reference)

Thanks Zack. Guess Bill still doesn't want to play fair with Steve. Was thinking about buying a Powerbook. Mainly for the reason there are far less bugs and issues with the OS. Happy holidays!!!

I have an xla file that runs on both PC and Mac platforms. I ran into a few minor issues. One that I seem to recall had to do with unloading userforms; userform.hide did not work, but 'unload me' did. Also, if I recall, Excel 2001 for mac didnt come with the data analysis toolpak? Or perhaps it just wasnt installed by default. The mac also doesnt display menu icons if you use VBA to add menubar items (it doesnt show any menu icons, unlike windows). It doesnt affect performance in any way. It's been over a year since I grappled with any of this stuff...

There were a few others that I have since forgot, and if I have any of these wrong, someone please correct me! My point, however, is that workarounds for the differences were relatively easy to find.
