Fctns LARGE & SMALL Don't Work in Cond Fmtting Formulas

I just tried to use the worksheet functions LARGE and SMALL in a conditional formatting formula, and they always result in TRUE. When I use the same formula in a cell on the worksheet, they work correctly.

Has anyone else had a similar result?

    Hi Cyberdude,

    Try...

Assuming your data is in column A. Select cell A2 then type this formula in the conditional format box.

$A2=LARGE($A$2:$A$30,1) and copied down the format.

    See if that helps.
