See the values from a formula

Hello,

I'm facing this priblem:

In column A I have if formulas like this one "=IF(F3=A36,"1","0")" ... i want to use the result of this formula in another one like =if(A1<>0,"x","y"), but the second one it doesn't see the 0 value from the firt one .. Is there a way to take as argument for the 2nd formula, the values that i specify in the first formula??
