    Disable worksheet copy

    Hi

I've managed to disable most aspects of copy and paste, but I want to know if it's possible to disable the copying of a worksheet into a new workbook? Or perhaps there is a workaround? Doesn't have to be 100% fool-proof, but it will deter most of my spreadsheet attackers!!

    Thanks

    Damian

You can protect the workbook and that will stop any worksheet from being moved or copied.

From the Worksheet Menu Bar select Tools | Protection | Protect Workbook. Make sure the box for Structure is checked. Then put in a password.

Just know that this protection is really weak and if someone wants to crack the password it would be very easy. But this will probably stop 99% of people that use Excel.
