    Advice: Runtime error message

Hi guys I have been getting a runtime error message stating
Microsoft Excel for windows has encountered a problem an needs to shut down.
I try to save data as I go along but this morning I had a lot of work and forgot
to save the data and I lost it all. Can you explain why I am getting the message
and how I can stop the problem? Thanks
    Max

Something could be corrupt with Excel. I would try the Detect and Repair option from the Help menu. Then after that doesn't work (well at least it never has for me), uninstall Office and delete all the files left behind. Then reinstall Office.
