I'm not sure this is what you want, but try it out and see if it's close.

The drawing is correct, but I see no animation or code associated with it. Am I missing something?
BTW, I'm using PPT 2000.
Sorry, but I don't think it will work in PPT 2000. When 2003 came along, it provided more advanced animation options. My example was made with 2003.

2000 doesn't have the blink animation TT used. This could be done with vba but an animated gif would be simpler
Try inserting the attached, resize as needed and see if that's what you need.
