"disable features introduced after" option error

I can't see where in my code I am setting the:

"disable features introduced after" options.

I have checked the section of the code where I am setting the options for the template, and its set to "False" but, for one reason or another after the document is saved, the option is reset to on/enabled/true (though not by my code as far as I can tell).

Has anyone got any ideas of what might be triggering it to come on?
