Forcing .xls to open in 2007

I run both Excel 2003 & 2007. By default all .xls docs open in 2003. Is there a way to force certain documents to open in 2007 using VB?

Hi,

I believe you can use VB to do so (not exactly sure how to), but I don't believe it would be so easy using VBA since you would probably need XL2007 open while you open a file...

One quick fix that should work is to right-click a *.xls file and choose Open With...-->Choose Program-->And choose XL 2007 and make sure that the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" checkbox is Checked.
