I Thought I knew this one but cant remember formula.I want to restrict a user entry of a date to be not greater than "NOW".IE:if today is the 13th September do not allow user to enter 14th September.

BUT ... 10 would be valid in this case, so it depends on your users and if they can reformat the cell.
-10 would also be valid
It's not a perfect solution but I think Bob's is the best there is.
