    CountIF

I have a column of id numbers, there are more than one id number and I need to know how many there are of the same ones without using sort by ascending. There could be 100 of the same id number and I just want the first one to show how many there are. I was shown this before, but do not remember, can anyone help please?

Howdy. Depending on your circumstances, you could use Advanced Filter, Unique values, either in place or to another location.

How do you want indexes and number of each displayed?
