Can AutoFilter work with Colour based selection in Excel 2002?

    Hello again.

Found a new problem. Is there is a solution for this one.

Is there a way to filter using the AutoFilter based on background colour not text colour.

It gets VERY hard to read if black colour is changed to something else.

The reason is this, I already have a dynamic list that grows unpredictable from a database and selected the autofilter in order to select "(Blanks)" so I can know what records are missing fields.

During the course of day, I have been using the background colour to change the entire row when done checking in database.

This is handy as I always get interrupted by phones or other company so when i come back I know where I am at by looking at the colours not done.

Any ideas. This is similar to Conditional Autoformatting I think....

    Thanks and warm regards,
    Psionic

See http://www.rondebruin.nl/easyfilter.htm, it has a colour option.

You could use conditional formatting for this to highlight those rows where there's missing data in any column/s you coose, which will then automatically un-highlight themselves when the data is enered.
Post again if you want more on this.

Everyone: If I've helped and you can't be bothered to acknowledge it, I can't be bothered to look at further posts from you.
