Authenticating against Active Directory AD usign Kerberso?

Just wondering if anyone ever thought of authenticating Excel workbook (macro) against AD....

The way I see it:

When a user opens a file it will present him with a Login/Password box, which will check with AD and either deny access or permit to further content...

Any suggestions?

Seems a little like overkill to me as your code is not that secure anyway! In any event it is simpler to check login IDs and assume that if they logged into the machine, they know the password. My limited encounters with the APIs involved in windows security have led me to steer clear whenever possible!
