Changing Default Control Properties

When I create controls from the Forms menu, they come up with preset Properties that I can change to "Don't Move or Size with Cells". But that's a bit of a hassle.

Is there a preference/option that I can set to make this the default?

I wouldn't think so; they are not part of Excel, but they are Forms library. So no Excel option will change them, and there is no Forms option anywhere that I know of.
