Thread: Excel 2007 AdvancedFilter

    Angry Excel 2007 AdvancedFilter

I have made a very simple macro containing a advanced filer. The macro works fine if the criteria contains no decimal. When using <0,7 in the criteria, the filter doesnt work. What is going wrong? This is just a little part of a macro I'm using sinds 2000, but after upgrading to Excel 2007, I have this problem.

It worked fine for me, although I did have to change it to <0.7 as I use a UK version of Excel.

I know you have a continental version, but why don't you try it with <0.7?

I tried several options, like brackets, “ and ‘. But never the dot. Maybe the problem is that we not only changed to Office 2007 but also working with Terminal Server with an English Windows 2003 Sever. Never thought of that. Thanks for the quick response.

My thinking was that, even though you have a continental version, Excel under the covers works in US/UK style. So your numbers list gets transformed to .2, .3 etc., but the ctriteria STRING is extracted as is, so you need to use the dot.

I will verify this with another mate in Pays-Bas as he has a full continental setup.
