    Field codes

    Are the following field switches the same in all language versions of Word
    (Word 97 and later)?

    "\n" for REF field
    "\o" for TOC field
    "\n" for TOC field
    "\h" for SEQ field
    "\c" for SEQ field
    "\!" for INCLUDETEXT field
    "\r" for SEQ field
    "\r" for REF field
    "\w" for REF field
    "\p" for REF field
    "\p" for PAGEREF field
    "\h" for REF field
    "\h" for PAGEREF field
    "\p" for NOTEREF field

    I'm sure some of our members do, but most probably only use English.

    At least they exist (German Word 97). So I assume they do the same, too:

    PageRef (here called SeitenRef):
    \h creates hyperlink
    \p inserts relative position

    I do believe that the field switches are the same in all languages, but I've not seen this documented.
