    Solved: File Naming Convention

    Hello Everyone!

I am putting together a tool that will house a list of reports with the corresponding distribution lists to send via Outlook. This file will be placed on the network in which my team will gain access. The problem being is that everyone has the different drive letters for the attachment locations. Although everything is saved to same network on the folder, it may have a different drive letter as per each workstation.

    How can I solve this?

    Network Folder S:RSS/BU03/RESP7070/SWP/Reports/January 2008/Adherence

    Workstation: R:Reports/January/Adherence

    Many thanks.

use the network name that the letter represents. The letter is just the shortcut to the network name.

For example S: may represent //servername/depts/

You should be able to find this out by going to My Computer, right click on the drive and select properties. If not contact your IT administrator.
