With help, from this forum, I've been able to get all of the layer names in a drawing, all of the group names in a drawing, and all of the entities in a drawing. I've also been able to find the layer, when one exists, that's associated with an entity, but I'm unable to find the group that's associated with and entity.
Ultimately I need to create a report that shows the entities in a group, the groups in a layer, and the layers in a drawing. If I could just find the Group that's associated with an entity, I think that I can peice the rest together.
Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
