2 quick "is it possible" questions...

2) Can i modify *.xls without having to open it first?

Mostly i use AHK to automate all my windows, *nix work. It's a lot easier for it to run *.exe to accomplish a task ruther then waiting for a workbook to first open then close.

An exceutable still has to grab memory, initialise, etc, and this is going to be relatively the same using this method.
