I need an on-the-fly vba compression routine/addin to read/write text files

I want to send and receive data in a worksheet in text mode but zipped across my network. The routine would take a range of cells, convert to text, compress and then send to another computer as well as read a compressed file back into a worksheet. I have all but the compressing done. Thanks

Thank you for helping my classroom. Those addresses will work fine. I was wondering if there are any addins that unzip on-the-fly. Although these will work, when you unzip, you have to unzip to a file and then read the file in. Do you know of any addins that stay in memory that will zip and unzip - or any compression format - without shelling out or writing addtional file before placing the data into the cells?
