Solved: OT - Help Needed To Access My Own Workbook

    Hi all,

this is a rather strange request, I realize that...

Some years ago I ran into some code which allows to block the opening of a workbook such protected.
I implemented said code and forgot all about this workbook.

Now, I wanted to demonstrate this solution and found out that I have no clue whatsoever about the password, I believe it starts with GMANIS or the like.
The workbook does not contain any other data but the code and the associated meta data will show that I am the (embarrassed) owner.

Since I don't own any crack-software I am not able to retrieve my password but I am sure that you gurus will find it without such "tools"...

I disabled everything in the Macro Settings inside the Trust Center but that did not help any...

Thank you for your understanding and help...

    Best,
    Wolfgang

    Hi Aussiebear,

I appreciate your saying and I support it totally...

I was only thinking that since it is my own workbook that someone would have opened it and send back without stating how it was done.

Anyway, I should have known better!!!

    Happy Easter...

    Best,
    Wolfgang
