    Locking cells in different range

    Hi Experts

I am having trouble trying to lock cells in the following range and the rest of the worksheet remains un affected.

Need to lock down the following range H8:S18 and H22:S27 and the rest of the work sheet users can amend.

how would i go about this task.

    thanks

Keilah, you need to highlight all cells (Ctrl+A) then choose format, protection and uncheck locked, then choose the cells you want to protect then choose format, protection and then check the locked option, from here you must protect the sheet for the locked cells to be inaccessible.
