    Solved: Autofilter problem

In my attached sheet, I have embedded small commandbuttons directly in sheet1. When I apply filter, the commandbutton other than what was filtered keeps showing up.

Am I doing what shouldn't be done or do I need to change any property so that only the commandbuttons for filtered list shows up? I am using Excel 2003. Thanks.

    1. Right click on the buttons and go to "Format Control".
    2. Go to "Properties"
    3. Click on "Move and size with cells"
    4. Click "OK"

    Try this:
right click on each button and select format control
select the properties tab and choose the radio button that says: move and size with cells

    worked for me.....

I used that feature "move but don't size with cells" for all the buttons, but doesn't work for me. Is there a workaround? Is it because I am using Excel 2003?

    Hello Lucas,

Your attachment worked for me as well, but when I open the original file, then it doesn't work for me

    Thanks.
