I would like to link 450 stock symbols to an another sheet.
I have 450 fund symbols in Sheet2 A3:A455. I want to link each one to
Sheet1 A1. How can I do that without linking each one seperately.
I started by using the copy in Sheet2 A3 and then going to Sheet1 A1 and
doing a paste special and selecting the LINK. Is there a way to link all the
symbols by using a macro or some other method?

You can use the Macro Recorder and do it manually and then check out the code. Or you can post or email me the workbook and I will take a closer look.

Are you saying that I should use the macro recorder and enter the following for each
symbol? Do a copy in Sheet2 A3 then go to Sheet2 A1 and do a paste special LINK.
Then go back to Sheet2 A3 and do the same thing for 450 symbols? I did that for 10 symbols. That was a chore. The macro for 450 symbols would be a mile long.

No, I mean do it for one symbol then see what the code is and we can make a loop.

Hi Max,
You seem to have a few queries relating to the same basic question. It would be advantageous to show a link to your previous thread. While there's no problem in isolating aspects, it saves duplication if others see what has been tried before.
