    Solved: Excel Add-IN

    Hi,

I have put together a spreadsheet for users to input various details, including various dates.

I have used the Calendar 8.0 Pop-Up add in and it works perfectly.

However, if someone else uses the program from their machine It does not load properly and gives an error message of Add-in not avilable on this machine.

Do you know how I can get round this, is there something I have to change in their Excel?

I can post a copy of the program if required,

    Thanks for any help

Judging by the questions posted in this forum there seems to be a lot of problems concerning add-ins.

Still haven't managed to get this working. Works fine on my machine but not on everyone elses.

    Wey Hey!!!

I have finally got it working.

I followed OldChippys link (On officeexperts forum) and read through everything, finally realised the part about copying the file into System32 - yes I had done that, but then saw the part about having to register it - D'oh!!

As soon as I ran the registration of the control it worked.

Thanks for all your help guys.

    Cheers

    Hoopsah

    Register the Control
The final step is to tell the Windows Registry that you have installed the file. This ensures that your programs can find it. Click Start then Run and type: regsvr32 mscal.ocx and click OK:
