    Question Changing the time zone

    Hi All,

I receive data from our US offices each week to show the cycle times of specific events.

The format that the cells arrive in is as follows:

    7/10/2008 3:38 AM

All of the times are local and I need them to be 6 hours greater to represent the true time the process step took place here in the UK, so for the example above I need to change the cell value to be:

    7/10/2008 9:38 AM

The spreadsheet I receive contains approx 15k rows by 38 columns of data so I am looking for a quick fix to cover all.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Marshybid

In a spare cell enter 6:00. Copy that cell.

Then select all cells to be updated.
Goto Edit>PasteSpecial and in the Paste section click the Values button, in the Operation section click the Add button.

Then OK out, and clear the cell with 6:00 in.

You will probably have to re-format all the cells.
