Calculating Days and Inactivating the columns

hi everybody,

i have 2 columns one column contains date and other 3 days ahead of the date
example
Alloted_Date Completion_Date
27.08.08 30.08.08

i require 2 things

(1) i want a formula which calculates completion_date I,e. alloted_date + 3 days and if there is a saturday or sunday inbetween it should not take that into account

(2) i want to make Completion_Date column inactive once i enter the formula so that no body can edit the column

Put this formula in B2 and copy down as far as you need

=IF(A2<>"",WORKDAY(A2,3),"")

then unlock the cells in column A, and set protection on the sheet.
