Help:Save attached file after open

Hi All,

How to open an attachment, do some edit. and then save it back to the attachment (not save separately).

Every times, I open an attachment, it always ask me to save separately, not save back into the outlook attachment.

I note some of my colleges can do this. But I dont know how to config the outlook to get that.

please help

I don't know how helpful this answer will be, but couldn't you ask your colleagues how they do it?

Also, wouldn't opening an email attachment, editing and saving it back to the original email, be the same as tampering with someone else's message?

Actually, I have asked, but they dont know how it works. They just use it as normal.

And they really can use that.
