Solved: Get multiple cells as a result in a dropdown list

    Hi there,

I would like to make a dropdown list where it's possible to get more then one cell as a result.
If cells a1-a10 are the source of the list, I would also like to get cells b1-b10 and c1-c10 as a result
So if I pick cell a3 from the dropdown, I will get cells a3, b3 and c3 as a result...

Hi Raf, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you need to check into the vlookup function in excel.

If you go to this link there is an excellent explaination and example file to download to get you started:
    http://www.excel-it.com/excel_functions.htm

It is the second function on the page......vlookup

If you have trouble understanding it or implementing it you can post your questions back here.

Hi Raf, When you get this working and have no questions left would you mind marking your thread solved using the thread tools at the top of the page?
