    Solved: Insert column then autofilter data

    Please someone help me with this worksheet
    I want to insert one column from left (A Column)
    But when i insert one column the macro can't execute
    what can i do am newbie please someone fix for me

    open the attached file choose sheet "Data with Autofilter" not "Data at List" and try to insert 1 column from left column A and then run the code
    it show "Auto filter method of range class failed"
    Can you fix for me please

    set the switch to off

    insert your column to the left of the others.
    add your data to column 1


    notice the autofilter arrows do not show in column A

    select the column letters from A to H (the new area) so you have all the rows selected along with the columns.......

    now go to data-filter-and click on the autofilter selection.....

    that removes all arrows. Now do it again and all columns will have arrows and it will now work as required.
