Solved: changeing background colour of a certain cell

Happy new year to all,

Little help please - Is it possible to change the colour of a cells background when you mouse over it? e.g.

Range J3:27 - if you move your mouse over one cell it changes colour and when you move the mouse off the cell it goes back to white?

suppose i should mention those cells already have a hyperlink to another workbook (if this makes a difference or not?)

There is n o worksheet mouseover event, so no, not directly. It might be possible to frig it with some overlaid shape and such, but it would be a lot of work (even if possible).
