Code libraries
I was wondering how the VBAX crowd managed their existing code since I need to get myself organized in this respect. I organise my code badly, also email all my revisions on my projects to myself as a back up. I'd say a well organies archive directory with cut and paste would be my choice. As long as the modules are well named you shoudl always be able to find what you're looking for.

Afraid I'm one of the disorganised - and not just with VBA.
I keep everything in my head and the retrieval mechanism is about 1% effective. I find re-inventing the wheel such an enjoyable experience that I keep on doing it

I made a VB6 routine a while ago to assist with this, but I never got organised yet to store my code in the spreadsheet. Basicaly the selected code is copied to the clipboard, the current Excel/Word VBE opened as selected, and Ctl+V pastes the code where you want it.
MVP (Excel 2008-2010)
Post a workbook with sample data and layout if you want a quicker solution.
To help indent your macros try Smart Indent

Made your code more readable, use VBA tags (this automatically inserts [vba] at the start of your code, and [/vba ] at the end of your code) | Help those helping you by marking your thread solved when it is.
Hi guys,
I comment every single line of code telling me (for future reading) what I am doing and why, then I separate every sub in a file named (Application-Functionality. Ex.: Excel-Find specific cell).
After that I save it on a CD. Plus every work I do I save on a CD inside a directory named after the client in a subfolder named by the date I have finished the job.
Well, dont know how good it is, but its my system.
