I have a spreadsheet that is linked to a data filed from Bloomberg. How do i prevent the spreadsheet form automatically updating itself upon opening.
Unfortunately I cannot attach the example as the data is a Bloomberg source.

- Don't display the alert and don't update automatic links

Could you possibly make use of
Application.Calculation = xlManual
to prevent updates?? It would have to be set before closing the workbook.
That will stop the calculations, the updates I assume Jake has assumed is the links of data in another workbook not the calculations.
