1000 row filter

is it possible to filter a spreadsheet in excel 2003 which has more than 1000 rows, if so how

1000 unique items seems to be the absolute limit for autofilter, I don't think you can change that. Doesn't even seem to be changed in 2007.

yes it does seem to change in 2007, had over 3000?

couldnt you write code to find a value and hide all other rows?
