Word - print preview in black/white?

Even though my printer is black and white, the Word print preview is in color. I thought maybe I could dissuade Word by specifying grayscale or B/W under file/print/setup or file/print/properties or options, but apparently the printer driver doesn't accomodate it because I never found anyplace to turn off color. Is there some other way to convince Word to not color the preview?
I just found a cool semi-advanced VBA page - dictionary, queue, etc. http://analystcave.com/excel-vba-dic...ta-structures/

    Hi,

No I don't think this is possible. Word does rely on it's default printer but that has nothing to do with how Word displays his shapes and formats in the GUI.
