Reply to a url in the body

Hi all,

I am using 2003 Outlook and in my business everything depends on email. Lately the county has changed its policy from sending contracts to individuals to a blanket email stating "The first vendor to accept this link....."

As you might have gussed, someone has set up their email to automatically click on the link and grab all the work.

What I need help with is an automatic responce to a URL link in the body of the email. Unfortunatelly the URL has a 7 digit number that chnages for each email, like a PO #.

Should this be a macro or a VBA script?

Can anyone help out so I can stay in business?

You can automatically click the link, but someone still has to accept the offer (if I read your email correctly). It sounds like the programming you need is much more complicated than just following a hyperlink.

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but it sounds like you might want to find another source of work. You don't mention what kind of work you do. If you can, you might want to talk to your supplier about the issue. They may not realize the problem they're causing by forcing their vendors to compete this way.
