    Norton alert with vbs

    mvidas,
when i ran the combine txt file script: appender.vbs my norton went off. Halted my system and defined it as a malicious script. I know this is probably to be expected, how do I work around it? Any clues?

I had a similar issue on my laptop, but there was a setting allowing me to use that script. I don't remember what setting it was specifically, but I know you can set it to trust it

    Got it to go

I ran it again. When I got the warning, I dropped the box and selected "allow this script to run" instead of blocking it. It just looks bad, Norton throws up a red message box....thanks, it works great by the way.

It was mdewis who thought it up, I just posted a link to his entry. But I'm glad it works nonetheless!
