Solved: Insert comment

I would like to insert a comment in a cell, but instead of using the "insert comment" option showing the red triangle in the upper right hand corner, I would like to use the comment box that appears when I select the cell. I use it before but I forgot how I was able to accomplish this. Need help, thanks.

or eliminate the red triangle and only show the comments when i hover over the cell.

Try Data validation. Works when you select the cell.
