Question about links

I created a link from a few spreadsheets to a master spreadsheet. In a column I created hyperlinks in the spreadsheets, however their are no hyperlinks when linked to the master spreadsheet. Is there anyway around this? I want the hyperlink in the mastersheet spreadsheet.
