Solved: Disable right click on images

I have imported some fancy icons which I am using as buttons to run macros.

I have disabled the right click function, but it still allows you to select the images(icons).

Can I disable it so that the righ click will not select the images.

can anyone help I have tried application.commandbars(cell).enabled = false, this only disables right click on cells not images

I might be misunderstanding, or just plain wrong, but I believe you'd have to protect the sheet to prevent objects from being selected.

thanks gto, the sheets are protected already... you can select the images but you cant move them as they are locked.

strange in excel 2007 what it works you cant right click on the image if it is in a protected sheet.. so why is it differen in 2003

i figured it out , on 2003 you need to deselect the objects when protecting the sheet. thanks GTO
